Stayed here for a couple of nights for business purposes, would've loved to have spent more time here as it's got lots to offer with tennis courts, gym, pool, massage/relaxation rooms, bar and restaurants plus more which I didn't have time to find out for myself. It's got lots of land to explore with lots of wildlife and gardens. It's got plenty of parking and the staff are friendly. Room was exceptional for the price. Will certainly stay here again if I'm working locally again. Also there's a brilliant pub/restaurant only a stone's throw away with a great outside seating area and good food.
Reported the shower was almost non existent buy apart from that the room was excellent, spacious and comfortable. The meal in the evening was excellent. Disappointingly the plates are cold at breakfast and spoilt the meal. Grounds were well kept and lovely to walk around. We asked two members of staff where the famous mulberry tree was but they were not able to tel us which seemed strange as this is advertised as a feature of the hotel .would definitely return for another visit

Stayed here twice now and going back next year. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, food is superb and the accommodation is good and clean. Perfect for a weekend away
A warm welcome as ever. We were given the time to explore the delights on offer. We had mains as we wanted to be able to enjoy all the meal without feeling full before we started. Wonderful food presented by kind staff who are so attentive. Loved every mouthful. Cheese and biscuits after just topped it off fantastic. Happy new year to all the staff and looking to see you all soon.

I needed a room at short notice and the hostess at Brixworth Lodgings was very helpful and went out of her way to accommodate. Room was very clean, and the bed comfortable. Bathroom facilities whilst not en-suite were immaculate. It was much better than I would expect at this price. I would definitely stay there again. A cafe 2 minutes away took care of breakfast.
I stay at this friendly lodging house many times per year the hostess is always friendly and welcoming, my room is always clean with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The bathroom is clean with fresh towels, in the room there is a flat screen tv and free use of fast wifi. There are off road parking facilities and local shops nearby. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Excellent pub. The food is good the service was very friendly and efficient. My wife had hangar steak which actually was tough but when asked if everything was ok they immediately took it away and supplied another which she said was excellent. They are open from 8.30am where they have a coffee shop. Lunch is from Mid-day to 2.30. my food was excellent. Highly recommend the King's Head.
Good food and service. Not your normal pub grub so don't go expecting a plate that is over flowing. It is quality over quantity. We had 3 courses and were impressed with the flavours and presentation. Nice place for a special meal. We will come back in the summer and try out the patio area.

Improving but still feels more aimed towards drinking and sports than dining.
Visited the George Inn after a bike ride for a coffee. Lovely pub with very friendly bar staff and a great atmosphere. Also serves food. Recommended!

Nice place for lunch. But sadly the flies and wasps thought so too... Could do with some wasp/fly catching things to keep them of customers plates. I'd drink outside in the lovely grassy area near the lake- but eat indoors! Food not bad - I've had better burgers for the £12 it cost me, but it was reasonably OK.
Great place for a private function. Catering great. Location outstanding. One of the best pubs I've visited in Northamptonshire. Great views of the lake. Steam or diesel trains running on the preserved railway out the back of the building. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a lovely lovely stay at Frog Hall B&B. Our room was in a self-contained external building and it was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Lovely little touches like a tub of biscuits and chilled water in a mini fridge were great. The bathroom had a great shower, there were wooden floors and the bedroom had a little balcony and seating area for looking over the fields. At breakfast we gathered round a table with other guests and had a good old natter while munching on delicious salmon and eggs, brioche, fruit, toast and croissant. Ruth and olivia ares lovely hosts and I'd recommend them (and Freddie the dog) to anyone.
The most amazing, delicious breakfasts ever! Plus great rooms and perfect hostess!
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
